Disappearing Kings : Death or Deposition ?
Four leading researchers explore the alleged deaths, depositions and disappearances of late medieval monarchs and potential claimants.
The Gloucester & Bristol and the Somerset Branches of the Richard III Society are delighted to be hosting a joint Study Day exploring the disappearances of several medieval monarchs and heirs to monarchies.
Doors will open at 10:00am for a 10:30 start, and the event should finish at 5:00pm. The venue has a coffee shop at which refreshments can be bought on arrival and over the lunch break. Coffee and biscuits will be provided mid afternoon. There are multiple food retailers near the venue.
The venue is five minutes walk from Bath Spa train station and the adjacent bus station, and there are several Park & Ride car parks on the city outskirts (Lansdown to the north, Odd Down to the South and Newbridge to the west). https://visitbath.co.uk/plan-your-visit/travel-information/park-and-ride-in-bath
There are multiple car parks in central Bath (though ensure your car is compliant with the recently implemented Clean Air Zone in the city), the nearest being Manvers Street car park and the multi story car park at Southgate shopping centre. https://www.google.co.uk/maps/search/Banes+car+park+bath/@51.3799869,-2.3573696,624m/data=!3m1!1e3?entry=ttu&g_ep=EgoyMDI1MDgxMy4wIKXMDSoASAFQAw%3D%3D
