At Wintringham, nature is among us wherever we look. Discover more about the wildlife right on your doorstep by joining ecologist and television presenter Mike Dilger as he guides us around Wild Wintringham... There is something for everyone as we explore the green corridors, ponds and natural habitats Wintringham has to offer:Good Morning Mammals and Moths! 09:30 - 10:30am(Ideal for children and their parents/carers) Wake up bright and early and join Mike at the Plaza outside Wintringham Primary Academy to discover what wildlife paid us a visit during the night. We&#x27;ll be looking for critters such as wood mice, bank voles, moths... maybe more! Pond Dipping: What&#x27;s in the water? 12pm - 1pm(Ideal for children and their parents/carers)Delve into the underwater world of Wintringham&#x27;s Bret Pond and see what creatures you can find. Mike will show you how to discover whats hidden in and around the water and tell you all about the amazing creatures you find. There&#x27;ll be pond dipping nets and containers to use and take home. Join Mike at Bret Pond to find out what&#x27;s in the water.Wild Walks: Butterfly, Bird and Bug hunt 1pm - 2pm(Ideal for the whole family)Walk with nature as Mike guides you around areas most popular with wildlife such as butterflies, birds and bugs. See how many species you can spot and learn some interesting facts about species on your doorstep! There&#x27;ll be Magnifying Bug Boxes to use and take home. Join Mike at the Plaza outside Wintringham Primary Academy to begin the Wild Walk. Wild Walks: Bat spotting 8:30 - 9:30pm(Ideal for older children and grown ups)Bats are fascinating mammals that come out at dusk. Follow Mike on an evening wild walk to spot these curious creatures. You may not have to venture very far... Join Mike at the Plaza outside Wintringham Primary Academy to begin the Wild Walk. <h3></h3>
