Establishing biomedical imaging in the UK Node of Euro-BioImaging

We're consulting biomedical imaging facilities interested in joining the UK Node of Euro-BioImaging.Following our successful establishment of the biological imaging UK Node in 2022, we're now expanding to include biomedical imaging facilities. With £1.9M in new UKRI funding secured and £300K dedicated to biomedical user access, we're seeking facilities ready to become part of Europe's largest imaging infrastructure network.Why Your Facility Should Consider JoiningAs a Node member facility, you'll offer:<ul><li>Enhanced access to external researchers across the UK and Europe</li><li>Connection to the Euro-BioImaging user access funding streams</li><li>Participation in collaborative research networks</li></ul>We're particularly interested in facilities with:<ul><li>Clinical Research imaging capabilities and advanced biomedical imaging techniques</li><li>Pre-clinical in vivo imaging capabilities and advanced (multimodal) imaging techniques</li><li>Existing external user programs or capacity for 20% external access</li><li>Strong image data management and ethics frameworks</li><li>Animal housing partnerships offering access to disease models (for pre-clinical facilities)</li></ul>We Need Your Facility's InputYour experience with external user access, capacity planning, data management, ethics approvals, animal licensing, and charging structures will directly inform the network requirements and application process.Join either of our Community Consultations🗓️ Thursday, 23 October 2025 | 12:30 PMor🗓️ Tuesday, 11 November 2025 | 2:00 PMBoth sessions: 90 minutes, virtualWhat We'll Cover:<ul><li>Facility requirements for joining the network</li><li>20% capacity commitment and external user access models</li><li>Funding mechanisms and user access processes</li><li>Technical and data management requirements</li><li>Animal licensing coordination and ethics frameworks</li><li>Your facility's interests and potential participation</li></ul> Who Should Attend?<ul><li>Facility directors and managers considering network membership</li><li>Imaging specialists responsible for external user programs</li><li>Business development managers interested in expanding facility reach</li><li>Data managers and technical staff who would support network operations</li><li>Administrative staff handling ethics, licensing, and user agreements</li></ul>
