Wet Felting Workshop with Sharon O'Connell

Learn all the necessary Wet Felting techniques to make a beautiful wool felt bowl.

Sharon will guide you through the process from start to finish, and the kit included in the ticket price will give you the supplies to take home and begin your own Wet Felting past-time.Felting is a satisfying process and the basic principles can be adapted to make many forms. At this workshop you will learn the principles of wet felting using merino wool and how to use a resist to create a bowl. Sharon will also chat about how to develop ideas and use the techniques learnt to create other items. All materials will be supplied.We will be using soap in the workshop – if you have any allergies or would prefer to use your own soap, please bring it with you (a bar soap is preferable, but liquid soap is fine too)All other items needed will be provided.Numbers are limited to be able to adhere to additional health and safety protocols that ensure the safety of both audiences and participants alike.
