Brighton Station.⠀

Diversity of BrightonLively, diverse and welcoming Brighton attracted aristocrats, creative bohemians, scientists, inventors, representatives of subcultures and just holidaymakers. We'll walk through the maze of the elite Lanes, the bohemian North Laine, along the waterfront and get to the Brighton Palace Pier, where you can enjoy the views and aroma of the sea plus learn how, from a small fishing village, Brighton has turned into an upmarket spa town and over time, a "resort for everyone." The Prince of Wales, then Prince Regent and future King George IV, left us a unique legacy - a fabulous, one-of-a-kind royal palace, the Royal Pavilion. You will hear its fascinating story and also find out why Queen Victoria, having come to power, decided to get rid of it. Meeting a guide at the entrance of the Brighton Train Station. The tour starts at 11:00 a.m.
