About Citymakers 2025:

For over 25 years, collaboration between the public and private sectors has been a driving force behind major urban regeneration schemes across our cities. But what defines the nature of this relationship, and how does it shape the environments we collectively inhabit?

As masterplanners and architects we’re often operating at the intersection of both interests. This work can be thought of as a physical form of a negotiated outcome, defining the future of a place.

In this year's Citymakers, we explore this dynamic and look at where this collaboration has succeeded, and where it has fallen short. We also turn our focus to the future: in an era of environmental, economic, and regulatory shifts, how can public-private partnerships continue to unlock the change that our cities and communities need?

The in person event is now sold out.
