Join outdoor and wild swim specialist Angela Jones on 22 August in Ross on Wye for an afternoon 3K wild walk along the river Wye and a guided 3K swim downstream. This session will take in the glorious surroundings of the river Wye and explore the beauty of the riverbanks before swimming downstream. There will be the opportunity to swim upstream if you wish. Angela will share swimming and safety techniques to help you enjoy swimming wild, along with stroke technique, river reading and water safety advice. Meeting at Hope &amp; Anchor, Wye St, Ross-on-Wye HR9 7BX at 2pm (look out for Angela’s mint green coloured Run Wild branded VW). Social distancing and government guidelines for health &amp; safety will be followed.Angela Jones has been cold water swimming the river Wye for over 30 years and is highly experienced, qualified and fully insured. Over 16s. Wetsuits can be hired. Learn about the benefits of cold water dipping in a safety environment. Wetsuits, towfloats and water shoes are essential - don&#x27;t worry if you don&#x27;t have any equipment as you can hire / purchase from Angela at the event.www.swimwildwye.co.uk
