Join the workshop of session of Civic Revival's sociable study tour of Bexhill-on-Sea LIVE ONLINE from Bexhill Museum

You are warmly invited to join Civic Revival and Flatpackers from across the country live on Zoom from Bexhill Museum on Friday 9 July for an informal discussion on how we can better use elected parish and town councils as a vehicle for doing good and imaginative things in more places and communities. 
Participants will include:

</li><li>Susanna Rustin, Queens Park Community Council, London
</li><li>Wendy Breach from the Open Hexham group, Hexham, Northumberland
</li><li>Peter Tyzack from Pilning &amp; Severn Beach Parish Council
</li></ul>We will also discuss the issues aired on our sociable study tour of Bexhill, and compare notes about mechanisms for civic activists to share experiences and problem-solving across different places. 
CIVIC REVIVAL'S SOCIABLE STUDY TOUR OF BEXHILLOur first gathering will be on Friday 9th July in Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex, a seaside town known for its iconic 1930s modernist seafront De La Warr Pavilion (which we'll be visiting!).Last month the first elections to the newly established Bexhill Town Council were held, after years of local campaigning. The new town councillors now have to learn to run a council, engage the community, and put a wide range of ideas for improvements into practice. Civic Revival invites all its friends to join us to enjoy Bexhill, meet some of the new independent town councillors, hear about their plans for the town, and share expertise and ideas between kindred spirits from around the country.The programme has been designed to allow people to attend on day-trip basis, or to stay over for one or two nights in Bexhill or the nearby delightful Sussex coastal area. But for those who cannot join, we will be holding a workshop session at Bexhill Museum for a discussion of what we have seen and heard and mechanisms for the Civic Revival community to share experiences and connections.
