We aim to inspire others to be nature enthusiasts and evolve into the caretakers of the future. Come and join us on our next adventure and learn something new!

The Croft  Playing Fields

Does your child love nature? Would you like to learn more about birds and their communication? Our next event, subsidised by Harrow Parks Forum, is Birds and their babies. Quality time in nature, with your budding Harrow Nature Hero. Designed for nature lovers aged 5 to 9 with their accompanying adult. (no unaccompanied children)This fun event is designed to give children an insight into the world of birds. We will play games and spend time listening to birds to learn about the ways they communicate, protect their young and gather food. The event is subsidised by Harrow Parks Forum. It is a chargeable event: £4/person. Due to Local Government regulations, we are allowed a maximum of 15 people at a session, so book your place fast to avoid disappointment. Please book a place for yourself as well as your child.Please meet us at the end of the pathway leading into The Croft, from Cannonbury Avenue HA5 1TP next to Number 65. What3Words location- " shrimp.punt.foal" There is some street parking in Cannonbury Avenue itself. We are Covid aware and will be taking precautions to minimise any risk. We ask you to bring a rug or mat to sit on. Please look after yourselves and, where possible, stay 2m apart and remain sensitive to the needs of others who may be more vulnerable. As we are outdoors we do not need to wear a mask but feel free to wear one if this will make you feel safe.Please bring: <ul><li>Warm and waterproof clothes, we will be outdoors for the whole session</li><li>Wellingtons or sturdy shoes as the ground can get muddy and be uneven</li><li>Your Harrow Nature Heroes logbook (if you have one)</li><li>Binoculars if you have them</li></ul>Please be aware that there are no toilets in the park.Accessibility.The park is accessible to all and our event is inclusive. In this event, we will give a full refund minus the Eventbrite charges. You will be notified by email on the morning of the event if this is necessary.</li><li>Harrow Nature Heroes reserves the right to cancel the event if there are fewer than 4 participants.
