Session overviewThis short, focused, online session will give practical guidance on evidence-based approaches that maximise the chances of children remembering and retaining the spelling of words and spelling &#x27;rules&#x27; they have been taught. Session aims<ul><li>Understand the challenges involved in learning to spell in English; </li><li>Gain a repertoire of evidence-based approaches to the teaching and practising of spelling to promote increased retention for children and the development of automaticity. </li></ul>Suitable for: Reception - Y6 teachers
