PGR 101: Getting started with your research /Dechrau ar eich ymchwil

This half day session explores a range of themes to equip you with the knowledge and confidence to succeed in your PGR studies. We will explore expectations and aspirations surrounding PGR study, tips to work effectively with your supervisor, and how to develop positive working habits. We will also explore some of the many opportunities available to PGRs at the university, including training and development opportunities. There will be plenty of opportunities to meet other PGR students from across the university and share questions, experiences and reflections. The session is primarily aimed at new PGR students but is also open to continuing students who want to gain a new perspective on their studies.

Mae'r sesiwn hanner diwrnod hon yn archwilio amrywiaeth o themâu i roi i chi'r wybodaeth a'r hyder i lwyddo yn eich astudiaethau ymchwil ôl-raddedig. Byddwn ni’n archwilio disgwyliadau a dyheadau ynghylch astudiaethau ymchwil ôl-raddedig, awgrymiadau am weithio'n effeithiol gyda'ch goruchwyliwr a sut i feithrin arferion gweithio cadarnhaol. Byddwn ni hefyd yn archwilio rhai o'r cyfleoedd niferus sydd ar gael i ymchwilwyr ôl-raddedig, gan gynnwys cyfleoedd hyfforddi a datblygu. Bydd digon o gyfleoedd i gwrdd â myfyrwyr ymchwil ôl-raddedig eraill o bob rhan o'r brifysgol a rhannu cwestiynau, profiadau a sylwadau. Mae'r sesiwn fwyaf addas i fyfyrwyr ymchwil ôl-raddedig newydd ond mae croeso hefyd i fyfyrwyr sy'n parhau ac sydd am gael safbwynt newydd ar eu hastudiaethau.
