Guided tour of the Edgcote Battlefield on the 552nd anniversary

<p>The annual anniversary guided walk organised by the Northamptonshire Battlefields Society around the important 1469 battlefield will take place on Saturday 24th July. It will leave from outside the Griffin inn in Chipping Warden at 2pm, and will take approximately 3 hours. The walk will be lead by Graham Evans, author of &quot;The Battle of Edgcote 1469 - Re-evaluating the evidence&quot; and Phil Steele, Trustee of the Battlefields Trust. Please note that if you are intending to attend that the walk takes place across farmland and uses bridle ways and public footpaths. If there has been rain, expect the ground to be wet, and in places muddy. The paths are not level, and the walk includes some hills. It is not suitable for wheelchair users or those who cannot walk comfortably unaided. Places are limited to 30, and are free to members of the Northamptonshire Battlefields Society and Battlefields Trust. Please bring proof of membership. The charge for non-members is £5.</p>
