With over 25 years specialising in low energy, high performance buildings, our timber frame houses begin life in our house building factory, in Wales, as fully engineered, insulated and air-tight closed panels.  The panelised units are then transported to site where a weather protected structure can be assembled in only a few days.The materials in our build systems are predominantly timber based and procured locally where possible. By using Warmcel cellulose fibre insulation along with timber and woodfibre lining boards, timber I-beams, timber windows, and timber cladding, carbon is locked-in to create a sustainable building that is healthy, comfortable and enjoyable to live in.

Online webinar With 11 years’ experience, our Technical Manager, Rich, has plenty of practical advice. He explains why building for airtightness from the design stage is key for passing airtests and reducing costly mistakes. He also explains why buildings have to pass an air test and what a blower test involves. He shows the impact of poor workmanship and materials, and how these can be corrected.Rich has conducted airtests on many building types, including timber frame, and will also refer to Passivhaus standards, fabric first approach, using intelligent tapes and membranes, and the importance of quality insulation.This will be a presentation with an opportunity to ask questions.
