The age range provides ideas and activities for babies from 6 months – 24 months. Take time to participate, observe and ask questions pertaining to the development of communication for babies through musical engagement.Chris RoccaChris Rocca MA, MMT, QToD, is a senior rehabilitation specialist on the adult and children’s cochlear implant teams at St Thomas’ hospital in London. Formally, Assistant Principal in (re)habilitation and education at Mary Hare, she established the Mary Hare-Nordoff-Robbins Music therapy unit, supporting professionals and families internationally and within the UK. She has research publications, contributed book chapters and presented internationally in the area of music, brain and communication development. Chris has designed a number of music focused practical resources for families, specializing in a multi-sensory approach.
