Join  the YCCN Relay London Residency for lunch at Farm Street Church and walk to Westminster Cathedral for climate justice!

The Young Christian Climate Network (YCCN) is an action-focused community of young Christians in the UK aged 18-30, choosing to follow Jesus in the pursuit of climate justice. 

As we look ahead to November, with world leaders meeting in Glasgow for important climate negotiations, YCCN are leading a Relay, walking from the G7 in Cornwall (13th June) to COP 26 UN Climate Conference in Glasgow (1st November).

As part of the Relay, a number of events are taking place at different churches around London between5 - 8 August 2021, before the next leg heads onto Birmingham. The Diocese of Westminster is hosting two events on Friday 6 August from 1 to 4pm, as part of our Journey to COP26. 

Meeting point: We will gather at 1pm at Farm Street Church, W1K 3AH, for a vegan lunch and blessing. This will be a chance to meet some of the Relay walkers and hear about their experiences so far.

At 2pm those who wish can then walk together (approx. 45 mins) to Westminster Cathedral where a short Ecumenical Climate Prayer Service will take place at 3.30pm. Alternatively, you can attend just the Cathedral event.

This will be an afternoon of action, prayer, and reflection. Please join Westminster Justice &amp; Peace and CAFOD with your presence in supporting the YCCN Relay.
