A free walking tour to discover some hidden historical gems around Millfield!

About the event
Ever wondered what the clock tower on the Triangle signifies? Was there ever a windmill on Windmill Street? Where was Unity Hall and why the name? 
Discover the answer to these questions and more, on the Millfield Radical History Tour.
The tour will be led local Historian and PhD Research Student, Hazel Perry, who will take you through the streets of Millfield, weaving together the stories of people, place and space. 
Suitable for ages 16+What to expect

Expect an informal and educational wander around some of Millfield’s iconic former and present landmarks. There will be opportunities to chat and share stories with a friendly group of fellow community history enthusiasts. The walking tour is outdoors and will last approximately an hour, and will include walking through the streets of Millfield. Some streets are narrow and busy, and the walk will involve crossing roads. Please wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather, and don’t forget a bottle of water!

Each walk is capped at 10 places to ensure social distancing where possible. We want all our events to be safe and for people to feel comfortable, so please do wear a mask if you’d prefer.
