Kickstart Your Development: introduction to the Development Needs Analysis

Starting your research, or thinking about signing up for training, but not quite sure what’s right for you? This interactive workshop offers an introduction to the Development Needs Analysis (DNA) process, which is designed to help you reflect on your individual skills and knowledge, identify goals for development, and make a plan to progress with these. We’ll explore the structure of the DNA document, look at some examples, and you’ll have time to work on your own reflections and start creating a plan, with support if you need it. This workshop is open to all research students – whether you are just starting out, or need some time to reflect on the next stage of your development.
