The Green Team Home Education Nature Group  (4-7 yr olds)

The Green Team is a voluntary organisation providing outdoor experiences for young people,supporting them to learn about and connect with nature.Weprovide a range of programmes and events for young people to take part in environmental volunteering projects, making improvements tolocal greenspaces and learning about the natural environment.Young people can achieve a range of awards such as theJohn Muir AwardandDofE Award.Weekend projects are led by highly experienced teams of staff and volunteer leaders.

Bawsinch Nature Reserve

Discover the local environment around Bawsinch Nature reserve through a range of fun outdoor activities. Have fun adventures exploring the nature reserve, follow trails, swinging in a hammock , make mudpies, climbing trees, building mini shelters, building a fire and listen to a story in the outdoors. Age 4-7 group runs 10 am - 1 pm one Thursday a month26th August 202116th September202114th October202111th November20219th December 2021Children should bring snack / packed lunch and a water bottle. Wear suitable clothes for the cold and wet. We have put in measures to keep everyone safe:<ul><li>drop off / pick up is at Cavalry park ( Duddingston Playing fields) opposite entrance to Bawsinch nature reserve </li></ul>We will continue to use Bawsinch nature reserve and the playing fields and woods near the carpark on alternate months
