This summer, Arbeit is hosting the WORK Series.Over June and July, Arbeit are hosting a number of Free workshops across Locations in Hackney Wick, Leyton Green and online.The WORK series has been designed to provide knowledge, skills and support to businesses, creatives and communities. You&#x27;ll learn about plant life cycles, soil types, plant care and top tips for growing successfully in pots and containers.Hackney HerbalBack in 2015, Hackney Herbal set out on a mission to show people how to incorporate herbs into their lifestyles, for health and improved wellbeing. The idea came from a desire to create more value out of the herbs that were being grown in private, public and community gardens. We are now growing herbs in a patchwork of sites around Hackney and from these we create unique herbal tea blends. The funds from the sale of these go towards free community activities in Hackney, which bring people together to learn, share knowledge and be inspired. We also design and deliver events and workshops which creatively teach and inspire people about the extensive uses of herbs. We are a social enterprise so buying a pack of our tea, attending a workshop or booking us to provide a bespoke event helps to fund our community work promoting good mental health
