There is this misconception that South Asian food is unhealthy and contributes to many health conditions such as diabetes, heart disease and some cancers. South Asian food can be extremely healthy, and the problem possibly lies with portion size and cooking methods.

Whilst there are so many blogs and posts on how to make South Asian food healthy, no one has ever focused on the South Asian dishes and their nutritional value. The ingredients used in South Asian cuisines are extremely healthy and nutritious — we need to consider the cooking methods and portion control
