About this event
Blown Fuse Theatre presents:
PRODUCER LAB 2 | Find, Fund, Fly: The Art of Teaming Up
So you have a brilliant idea and maybe some people backing your project. How do you transition from being the only one, to many people? Who will help elevate your project and safely take it to the next level?
Our 2 hour workshop will cover topics such as finding the right people and deciding on the roles in the project. We'll look at a case study together and work in small groups/pairs to get to grips with the stumbling blocks you're experiencing.
Hosted by our Executive Producer: Roxanne Carney
WHAT TO EXPECT:
Ready to build your creative dream team? This workshop designed for emerging theatre-makers, indie producers, directors and self-producing artists. We’ll unpack the real-life case study of “In Her Shoes” - exploring how we identified roles, filled gaps, elevated ambitions, sourced talent, set fair fees and raised funds to make it all happen.
Through interactive exercises, you’ll reflect on what roles truly matter for your projects, what’s realistic at your scale, and how to pitch your work with clarity and confidence. We’ll challenge you to dream big while staying grounded, helping you leave with a clearer sense of the essential collaborators who will help bring your artistic vision to life.
The workshop will finish with a Q&A.
Please note there will be an element of discussing money in relation to the scale of your project. This is not a fundraising workshop.
WHAT WILL YOU GET:
-Enrolment onto a jam-packed 2 hour workshop, led by Executive Producer Roxanne Carney
-Video recording of the workshop for up to 30 days after the session
-A comprehensive resource sheet with links, tasks and networks relating to the workshop
-An opportunity to expand your network of creatives
-Access to the Producer Lab network
-Tangible tasks to elevate your project
-Signing up to Blown Fuse’s mailing list so you don’t miss future opportunities (you can unsubscribe at any time)
