The Bomb Factory Art Foundation is an independent space for contemporary art based in Archway, north London. We are an artist-led non-profit organisation offering affordable studio space, a gallery and workshop to artists at any stage of their careers.There are over 20 resident artists ranging from recent graduates to internationally acclaimed prize winners.The Bomb Factory Art Foundation provides a dynamic context for the creation, support and experience of contemporary art through our evolving programme of exhibitions, open studio events, artist talks and educational activities.The Bomb Factory Art Foundation is a registered charity.

Free ceramics workshop for women with English as a Second Language, hosted at The Bomb Factory Art Foundation.

Hosted by ceramicist Noa Weintraub, this is a 2.5 hour introductory session to clay, exploring the hand-building methods of coiling and pinching.You will learn how to create a pot using the coil and pinch technique - one of the oldest forms of pottery-making and still used throughout the world today. There will also be an opportunity to decorate your creation using coloured slips, and decoration techniques. Suitable for complete beginners.Dates:Monday 16th August, 18:00 - 20:30, 8 spacesMonday 23rd August, 18:00 - 20:30, 8 spaces
