The Labour Party believes that small medium enterprises businessesare the backbone of the United Kingdom, making up 99.2% of all private sector businesses in the United Kingdom, employing over 14.4 million people with an estimated combined annual turnover of £1,600 billion accounted for 48.1percent of private sector turnover.Through Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) for Labour, we want to provide a forum whereby SMEs can work in partnership with the Labour Party and continue to inform our economic policies.SMEs for Labour seeks to strengthen relations between the small, medium, micro, owner and family run businesses with the Labour Party
