Many of you will know about Isambard Kingdom Brunel, but how much do you know about his father, the French engineer Marc Brunel? This father-and-son duo changed the world in which they lived, and their brilliant ideas still affect our lives today. The story of the Brunel family will take you a voyage from the terrors of the French Revolution to the heart of the Industrial Revolution, via New York City. Join me to discover the history of two of the world’s most respected engineers, a tale of revolution and invention, of grand successes and spectacular failures, and of two extraordinary men whose works span continents and whose creations have become a lasting legacy.
