The Juniper Green Note Jazz Club will deliver a programme of high-quality jazz concerts to Juniper Green and the surrounding area, with a particular emphasis on providing cultural opportunities for the community. Over time, the project will expand to include open jam sessions, enabling younger musicians to perform alongside professional jazz artists and develop their improvisational and performance skills.This initiative also supports the wider Scottish jazz network by offering musicians a new grassroots venue with a supportive and appreciative audience.

We are planning one concert per month. The venue is fully accessible, and has a bar.  Each concert will be made up a professional jazz trio supporting a headline act drawn from the Scottish professional jazz world. The headline act will change each time.

A regular feature at the Edinburgh International Jazz &amp; Blues Festival, Edinburgh Festival Fringe and award-winning Jazz Bar, where she plays to packed houses.International touring includes recent invitations to RochesterNY International Jazz Festival, a tour of Germany with gypsy jazz guitarist, Lulo Reinhardt and regular appearances at London music hot spots.Lorna has enjoyed co-writes with leading writers including Boo Hewerdine ("The Patience of Angels"), Nashville' writer Darden Smith, leading Scottish composer/guitarist Neil Warden, London musician and acclaimed journalist David Sinclair and Glasgow's 'dust-bowl-blues' singer songwriter, John Alexander.Born in Glasgow, Konrad Wiszniewski studied music at the University of Strathclyde and Berklee College of Music, USA.He has released four original albums to date and has received two Scottish Jazz Awards for best instrumentalist in 2013 and again in 2017.
