NVivo is a software package to facilitate the coding of qualitative data. It allows the researcher to classify, arrange and examine links in text-based data, e.g. transcripts of interviews or questionnaires, although it also supports audio and video files. This workshop will provide a basic introduction to Nvivo.
The workshop will include:a. How to set up an Nvivo project.b. Introduction to the Nvivo environment.c. Different methods of coding data.d. Some simple ways to present the data
Mae Nvivo yn becyn meddalwedd i hwyluso'r broses o amgodio data ansoddol. Mae'n caniatáu i'r ymchwilydd ddosbarthu, trefnu ac archwilio cysylltiadau mewn data ar sail testun, e.e. trawsgrifiadau o gyfweliadau neu holiaduron, er ei fod hefyd yn gallu ymdrin â ffeiliau sain a fideo. Bydd y gweithdy hwn yn darparu cyflwyniad sylfaenol i Nvivo.
