Positive Psychology and Meditation

Our positive psychology events will help you to learn more about happiness, strengths, hope and resilience.  Our mindfulness meditation will help you to learn about awareness and awareness. Learn how to live with a more positive, peaceful state of mind.

Kim Furnish is a Positive Psychology Coach and will provide information about positive emotions, including joy, peace and love. Caroline Livingstone, a meditation teacher and crystal healer, will provide guided meditations. You are invited to use your own crystals but this is not necessary. This is an interactive session, and to protect privacy the sessions are not recorded, however session handouts are provided. Starts Wednesday 15th September 2021 7.30-8.45pmWednesday 22nd, 29th September, 6th, 13th, 20th, October 2021.The benefits of this course are to increase positive emotion, wellbeing, joy, peace and love. The course will also help to build a practice of meditation and mindfulness. There is evidence that regular meditators live longer and are happier. A meditation practice is likely to;• reduce levels of stress and anxiety• improve sleeping patterns• give clarity of thought• improve levels of concentration and focus• build a stronger immune systemRegular mediators see improvements in their blood pressure, are able to cope with physical pain better and have less hospital admissions.All meditations are fully guided and designed to relax and connect you to energy, colours, light and your own body’s natural healing wisdom. They are freely available on soundcloud by Crystal Caroline.The whole course will include a focus on self love, compassion, and self awareness and self acceptance.Wk1. Positive emotions Inspiration &amp; Hope and a guided meditation supported by Clear Quartz. Wk2. Positive emotion Interest, and a guided meditation supported by Green Aventurine.  Wk3. Positive emotion Pride, and a guided meditation supported by Smoky Quartz. Wk4. Positive emotion Gratitide, and a guided meditation supported by Rose Quartz. Wk5. Positive emotion Joy, and a guided meditation supported by Citrine. Wk6. Positive emotions Serenity (peace) &amp; Awe, and a guided meditation supported by Amethyst.
