Join Saskia Callaars - De Gruyter, from ‘Save A Seed’ and Sabina Sallis to hear and learn about practices of self-organising, collection, preservation and sharing of seeds. There will be some seeds to take home with you.Saskia Callaars - De Gruyter’s move from the Netherlands to Weardale in 2009 taught her the value of community. 
She says “Interacting with the natural world around me keeps becoming a bigger and bigger part of my life. Since I started growing fruit and vegetables a few years ago I quickly became aware of the importance of saving my own seeds. After joining a PDC (permaculture design course) I felt empowered to set up my own &#x27;Save a Seed&#x27; group this year&#x27;.
