Suicide Awareness Course Online - Morning

South East and Central Essex Mind provides mental health support across Southend-on-Sea, Chelmsford, Rochford, Castle Point and South Woodham Ferrers. We offer supported housing, counselling services, wellbeing mentoring for young people and signposting for anyone who needs it. We are also a provider of mental health training, education and professional services to schools, businesses and fellow charities in our area.We have a track record of over 50 years of delivering quality mental health services in the area. Although affiliated to national Mind, we are an independent organisation and charity and are responsible for our own funding mental health services in the South East and Central Essex region. Our vision is of a society that promotes and protects good mental health for all and that treats everyone experiencing mental health problems fairly, positively and with respect.

We are holding this special 2 hour event is in recognition of  Suicide Awareness Month.

A special 2 hour event in recognition of Suicide Awareness Month that takes place every year during the month of September. World Suicide Prevention Day also falls on the10 September.The presentation itself will be 90 minutes in duration with time left over for questions and a chance to learn more about the work of our charity, South East and Central Essex Mind.The session is based on the highly successful Suicide Awareness events, delivered across the Southend and Chelmsford areas through funding initially provided from Awards for All.The session will be delivered by members of our excellent training team, who together have many years experience working actively in Mental Health counselling and service provision.This course is for anyone who is interested in mental health or worried about a friend, loved one or employee.
