Sheba Festival - Day 1

Sheba Festival 2021 is here and will be taking place for 7 days, starting September 13th running to  the19th.Our annual festival of community arts taking place at various locations around Manchester and we promise to bring a diverse schedule of activities.The events include workshops for young people, women, children and men, music events, poetry, theatre, film and exhibitions.

Sheba Arts

The opening day of our festival will be an evening of music at Central Library featuring many amazing musicians and instruments.

We will start the day with a dialogue between Iranian Citar and Cameronian Jazz music and then move on to poetry, singing and Sufi Music. Finishing the day with a concert by Sahba Music, a traditional Iranian Band. Musicians coming from different cities across the North including Darlington and Liverpool. 16.00-16.30: Firoozeh Fozouni and Tebu: Fusion of Iranian Classis and Cameronian Jazz; 16.40-17.10: Sanaz Niknam, Alison Gill: Vocal singing with piano17.30-18.00: Hafsah Bashir and Sarah Yaseen: Sufi Music and poetry18.10-18.50: Sahba , Traditional Iranian Band
