She has contibuted to several books about design and technology education and is the editor for the 4th edition of the bookLearning to Teach Design and Technology in Secondary Education. Alison researches the values different people attribute to design and technology education, the influences, origins and consequences. Hi, I’m Alison Hardy. I am a former D&amp;T teacher now university lecturer. When I joined higher education I was expected to write and from day 1, but I didn’t know where to start. Since then, I’ve developed my writing and editing skills, publishing books, chapters, blogs and articles in numerous places. I’ve also helped students and academics to write and publish. Now I want to share what I’ve learnt with the D&amp;T community.
