We’re an independent charitable trust funded by the profits of Lloyds Banking Group. We partner with small and local charities helping people overcome complex social issues such as mental health, homelessness and domestic abuse.

When charities reach out to the wider community they expand their networks and increase support opportunities. Local businesses share many common issues, never more so than in this pandemic. Are you interested in learning how linking to a local business can benefit your charity or community organisation?During this session we will be sharing how partnering with a local business can provide you and your organisation with a wide range of skills, knowledge and opportunities to strengthen the support you provide to those in your community. The aim of this event is to provide an overview of how a successful partnership works and we will hear from three successful charity/community organisations and business partnerships. They will be sharing and discussing how their relationship has helped them grow and be more effective. We will hear from the following partnerships:• Hayley Spencer-Edwards of Homestart Cymru and their partnership with John Lewis• Julian John of Cwm Taf Morgannwg and Allison McCarthy of EE. Victoria Burrows of Improving Lives and their partnership with Shoosmiths Solictors, NottinghamWe will then explore: •	The mutual benefits of being part of a charity and business partnerships•	What is standing in the way of establishing and developing effective partnerships?•	What support would help you achieve your partnership goals?•	Are there any skills gaps that stand in the way of you reaching out to new networks?We look forward to you joining us at the event to learn more. This event is part of a programme initiated by the Lloyds Bank Foundation for England and Wales.
