Join us for an session led by Pamela, that explores how organisations can create inclusive environments by understanding the experiences of Deaf and hard of hearing individuals.Deaf Awareness training helps break down stereotypes and misconceptions, promoting empathy and respect. It also empowers hearing staff to interact confidently and effectively with Deaf individuals, whether through basic sign language, clear lip reading, or the provision of interpreters.When staff are Deaf Aware, communication barriers are reduced through accessible information, visual cues, and alternative technologies, ensuring that Deaf colleagues, clients, and visitors can participate fully in daily operations.Whether you're a team leader, frontline staff, or simply curious, come discover how being Deaf Aware can open doors to richer collaboration, wider perspectives, and a more inclusive workplace.
