The qualifications provide students with the necessary industry relevant skills, knowledge, and understanding to access appropriate entry level roles, training programmes or apprenticeships in the creative sector, or apply for progression to related higher education courses.The UAL Level 3 Diploma in Creative Practice: Art, Design and Communication gives students an in-depth introduction to the creative industries, along with a broad foundation of related knowledge, skills, and attributes associated to the creative process.The UAL Level 3 Extended Diploma in Creative Practice: Art, Design, and Communication further develops a student&#x27;s knowledge of the creative industries, allowing them to explore and select a specialist practice focus, and develop skills and knowledge central to supporting and sustaining an individualised specialist creative career.The qualifications are suitable for students who have an interest in creative arts or a related subject who wish to explore and extend this interest via a full-time or part-time, immersive learning experience.You will hear from current tutors at UAL Awarding Body approved centres who have successfully planned and delivered this qualification. There will also be a chance to hear from students about their experience of studying this qualification, and the progression routes it opens up to further study and careers within their chosen industry.By the end of the session, you will have an understanding of:<ul><li>The wide-ranging benefits of this qualification and the different ways it helps students to hone the specific skills needed for progression to further study and their chosen industry</li><li>How these qualifications encourage innovation and creativity</li><li>The course overview and delivery</li></ul>There will be an opportunity to discuss these elements with our qualification experts in a Q&amp;A session at the end.Who should attend? All centres interested in delivering the UAL Level 3 Diploma and Extended Diploma in Creative Practice: Art, Design and Communication and NOT currently delivering this qualification.Please note this event is not designed for students.
