Spellbound Academy- Halloween 'Potion Bottle' making- Adult craft event
Calling all Witches and Wizards who like to call up the SPIRITS!! 'Spellbound Academy' is finally running an event for Adults! Why not come and learn how to jazz up your standard alcohol bottles, for a gift or display at your Halloween party. Bring an unopened bottle to decorate as a gift for a like minded witch, or a display piece for your event table. Used bottle can also be decorated if you'd like to give a magical gift to your children, or convert into a lamp for home decoration. All art materials except the bottles will be provided. There will be hand made mushrooms and dragon eyes pre made for your use, with tutorials on how to create your own at a later date .
You can even get the chance to have a quick snap taken with some of our gothic headdresses and accessories on the atmospheric background of the 14th Century Nurstead court Library.
Each session lasts for one and a half hours and includes:
*Art making equipment-( Just BRING YOUR OWN BOTTLES- Full or empty, one or two). Pre hand made polymorph plastic dragons eyes, mushroom, material leaves, gold leaf, modelling bandage, paints, jewelry, labels, glue guns, etc. (Although the session is not very messy, you will be using acrylic paint and plaster bandage. If you are concerned please wear something old to put over your clothes, only plastic disposable aprons will be provided).
*All pieces for the bottles will be pre-made to save time, however tutorials and instructions will be given, so that you can replicate the techniques at home.
* Fantasy photo with costumes and atmospheric background (digital copy) * This is a photo taken with a phone, with additional editing to add a touch of magic. This is not a professional photography session and quality may vary, this is simply a memory of the day and is not taken into cost. Photos will be sent to you in the next few days after the event.
*you can purchase a gift box if needed on the day- cash only
Cost - £30 per adult( including ticket fees). Tickets must be purchased in advance on Eventbrite.
Dates - 30th of October. 15:30-17:00
Venue - Nurstead Court library. Park in the car park past the house, then enter through the main front door.
