FCCAN Networking  Event - Climate Fresk Workshop

We are Community Groups in Fife that are taking action on Climate Change. By working through this network we intend to share information, resources and knowledge whilst tackling the barriers to low carbon living in Fife. We will act as a channel of communication with Fife council and the wider Scottish Communities Climate Action Network to whom we are affiliated.

A fun, collaborative workshop using 42 cards to get to grips with climate change ahead of COP26.

Wildfires, floods, heatwaves have barely left the headlines this summer. But how does it link to climate change? As world leaders descend on Glasgow for the global climate change conference get to grips with it all in your local community as part of Climate Action Fife.This fun, collaborative workshop is based on a 42-card game. Each card represents an element, a cause or a consequence of climate change.In small groups, guided by your facilitator, you&#x27;ll learn about the drivers, mechanisms and consequences of climate change. You&#x27;ll link the different components to form a group collage, with collective intelligence getting you from one deck of cards to the next! <a href="https://climatefresk.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">climatefresk.org</a>&quot;I loved how interactive this was, and what a sense of community it built among participants. It was lively and engaging, with just enough extra info provided to explain the various cards.
