A look at the best ways to find, understand and utilise opportunities for smaller businesses within the public sector marketplace.

Go4growth, supported by Ian Westlake, Head of Procurement for Bradford Council will explore the best ways for smaller organisations to find opportunities within the public sector. We&#x27;ll cover use of platforms such as Find A Tender Service (FTS) and Contacts Finder, including a live tutorial on how to use the search functions. We&#x27;ll also give an overview of how things could change with the new legislation such as publishing pipelines and we&#x27;ll look to the future and explore how voice powered technologies such as Alexa, Google Voice and Siri might play a role in future processes. Drawing on feedback from businesses at the last Finding Opportunities event in April, we’ll discuss with Ian things like Meet the Buyer events and how they might be used going forward, use of social media and communicating opportunities more generally. We&#x27;ll get some perspective and insight from Ian into what can work well from a public sector perspective when building relationships outside the competition process.
