Mental Health First Aid - Second Refresher Course
Overview
Mental Health Refresher
A 4-hour session to refresh your skills in Mental Health First Aid.
In 2022/23, The Diocese of London provided a series of courses in Mental Health First Aid (MHFA), delivered by Humantalk and generously funded by CCLA.
As a sign of our ongoing commitment to supporting the mental health of all within our diocese, and of the clergy who serve within it, we are now offering you the chance to refresh your skills and remain qualified in MHFA for a further 3 years. This time the training is being funded by the Clergy Support Trust. By attending this refresher session, your will receive the following:
- An official MHFA printed workbook.
- Access to digital resources, including the MHFA App for 3 years post-training.
- A chance to refresh your understanding, share experiences, and learn about the latest trends, stats, and needs.
Please note, to remain qualified, you need to complete a refresher session within 6 months of the 3-year anniversary of your initial training.
If you have done your initial training elsewhere, you are still eligible to do your refresher with Humantalk (subject to meeting the timeframe requirements).
There are three refresher sessions on offer. Please book early to ensure you get a place.
This course will be lead by Ali Levell, from Humantalk Ltd.
Coffee will be served from 8:45 and the course will start promptly at 9am.
