New music, new fashion, new art and new 'scenes' came and went, all inspired by legendary nights out at the Astoria, Boombox, Mahiki and The Cross. Fresh off the train from Canterbury with only an excellent fake ID to her name, Jodie Harsh soon fell in with all the 'wrong right people' and stayed at the party for years. She was there, every single night, and now she's here to share the story of what went on behind the velvet ropes and closed doors... Jodie Harsh is a producer, songwriter, remixer and still the reigning queen supreme of international nightlife. She'll be chatting all-things You Had to Be There with Amy Zing, co-founder of Margate Pride, Margate Arts Club and queer club collective Sink the Pink.
