The Department of War Studies, King&#x27;s College London, is <a href="https://www.kcl.ac.uk/warstudies/war-studies-at-60" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">turning 60 during the 2021-2022 academic year</a>. To kick off a year of celebrations, we&#x27;re inviting you to watch the live-stream of our special launch event.Professor Shitij Kapur, President &amp; Principal of King&#x27;s College London, will welcome guests, followed by an in conversation between Professor &#x27;Funmi Olonisakin, Vice President &amp; Vice Principal (International), King&#x27;s College London and War Studies alumnus, and former Head of the Department of War Studies and Emeritus Professor of War Studies, Professor Sir Lawrence Freedman. We&#x27;ll also be sharing information about how you can get involved in the new War Studies branch of KCL Alumni Association.
