The Introduction to Emotional Intelligence Programme is an engaging and interactive blended learning programme in which you will explore your personal Emotional Intelligence and build more effective relationships with colleagues, customers and leaders. What is Emotional Intelligence?Emotional Intelligence (EI) is the process by which we become aware of our thoughts and feelings in order to manage our behaviour more effectively; this, in turn, is largely determined by our attitudes and habits. It is widely recognised that today’s employees and leaders are operating in a fast-paced, challenging and often unpredictable work environment. These conditions create greater stress and demand on individuals to be more adaptable, creative, and emotionally resilient; all features that reflect the attributes of EI. It is important therefore to recognise that many of the changes and demands facing organisations can be supported through the development and application of EI.Why should I attend? If the last 18 months has created conflict within the workplace and has left you struggling to feel motivated and your resilience and energy low, then you are not alone. It is through experience that we learn most about what we are capable of and where our deepest challenges lie.What we know is one thing. Whether we choose to do differently is another thing entirely.Designed to inspire you to dig deep and stretch the boundaries of their current thinking, this programme will give you a greater insight to your personal emotional intelligence profile and how to make the most of your unique qualities; providing you with the practical tools and strategies to dramatically improve how you approach stress and challenges and get you noticed in the workplace for all the right reasons,This programme will enable you to: <ul><li>Understand what Emotional Intelligence is and how it relates to performance at work 
</li><li>Explore how your attitudes and emotions support or hinder your effectiveness 
</li><li>Learn about your personal EI strengths and development areas 
</li><li>Learn tools and techniques to help you to inspire great performance in yourself and others
</li></ul>Who is this programme most valuable for?Professional persons interacting with clients, customers and colleagues. No prior knowledge required.Programme format and duration:<ul><li>Approx 1.5 hours pre workshop activities to complete (digital learning, reflection worksheet and Emotional Intelligence questionnaire)</li><li>Half day workshop (face to face)</li></ul>Next stepsOn receipt of payment, each attendee will receive a further email providing instructions on how to access and complete the pre-workshop activities. Wherever possible, participants are given a minimum of 3 weeks to complete this dependant on the course date selected.
