Join solicitors from Clan Childlaw and Care Experienced members of Who Cares? Scotland’s National Representative Body, to dive into the new legal rights for siblings in care.This webinar will get to the heart of what the changes to the law and children’s hearings means for brothers and sisters with care experience and support you to understand what these legal rights could look like in practice. This will include exploring:<ul><li>What the new laws for brothers and sisters are and what they mean</li><li>How to identify different situations where these rights could be relevant for brothers and sisters</li><li>What positive participation could look and feel like for Care Experienced people to have their views heard</li><li>How individuals can get support to uphold their rights</li></ul>We welcome anyone to come along who is interested to learn more, particularly people with care experience, carers, families and practitioners. This will be a participatory workshop, with opportunities to share your views on these new rights and think about them in practice.There are limited spaces, however the session’s presentations will be recorded to access afterwards.This webinar will take place on Zoom. A link will be released closer to the time.
