Greener Kirkcaldy is a community-led charity and development trust working locally to combat the climate emergency, tackle fuel poverty and food insecurity, and bring people together for a more sustainable Kirkcaldy. We deliver a range of projects, events and skills training to meet the needs and goals of local people - working towards a future where everyone can live better and tread more lightly on our planet.Based in the heart of Kirkcaldy – with a community building, bike shop and garden – we carry out activities across Kirkcaldy and work with partners to deliver projects across Fife. For more information visit our websitewww.greenerkirkcaldy.org.ukView our fullprivacy policyhere.

Get your bike checks and minor repairs and adjustments done for free.

Torbain Parish Church

Book your cycle in for free checks and minor adjustments and repairs. At Dr Bike sessions, experienced mechanics check everything on your cycle from wheels, brakes, gears and tyre pressure to lights, racks, pedals, saddles and more. Any minor adjustments we can make, we do there and then. This may include free replacement of minor wear and tear components where possible. For more complicated repairs that we can't fix on site, we will let you know exactly what needs to be done and give you a rough idea of what it should cost at a bike shop. A “Dr Bike health report” will be supplied to customers afterwards. This event will be conducted with social distancing measures and bike cleaning measures in place. Booking InformationThe event is free but booking is required - if your household has more than one bike that needs repairing, please book more than one slot. If you are having trouble booking you can email info@greenerkirkcaldy.org.uk for assistance.
