We give information & support and host events for volunteers and volunteer managers in Camden. This includes employer-supported volunteering via Team UP which connects businesses with local non-profits that could use help doing something.So, in a nutshell, we believe Camden is a better place through volunteering, and our job is to make that happen.We are always looking for better ways to do what we do. Any ideas? Just let us know.

Join us at our Camden Trustees Recruitment Fair which we are co-hosting with our friends at Camden Giving on Thursday 18th November, 7-8.30pm online via Zoom: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/85204311613?pwd=K0xwM0tIbkdoUlQ1ajhSd3VDRmh2QT09The organisation recruiting trustees at this event are: <ol><li>West Hampstead Women&#x27;s Centre</li><li>The Winch</li><li>Somers Town Community Association</li><li>Helping Hand</li><li>icandance</li><li>Sidings Community Centre</li><li>Kentish Town City Farm</li><li>Volunteer Centre Camden</li><li>Homestart Camden and Islington</li><li>Centre 404</li></ol>Event Timetable7-7.10pm Welcomes and introductions from the hosts. Explanation of the fair and how it will work.7.10-7.30pm Brief pitch for volunteers from the ten organisationsThen all organisations recruiting volunteers will be popped into ten different breakout rooms. Volunteers can choose to join them there. Each organisation will deliver a short presentation about the volunteering role(s), the organisation itself and the benefits of volunteering with them. This will be repeated three times (see below for timings). You can choose to attend one breakout room, three different rooms or anything in between. 7.30-7.50pm Breakout room session 17.50-8.10pm Breakout room session 28.10-8.30pm Breakout room session 38pm Event ends, everyone back in the main room for a very quick reminder of the next steps, and then a brief thank you and goodbye!PLEASE NOTE: Tickets are only needed for people who want to find out about volunteering as trustees in Camden.
