To find out more about this event, or chat to us about being a guest speaker, please email events@mantle.co.uk
We are delighted to be joined by Andrew ‘Diesel’ Bennett as this month's speaker.
In 2007 Andrew lost 30 years of memory following a short career in the police and as a result of seeing lots of traumatic incidents. He lived with a 24/48 memory for a couple of years due to dissociative amnesia as a result of the PTSD.
Despite all of this he recovered, then went on to work for Porsche as a test and development driver before ending up as a VIP/Royalty driver at Heathrow Airport driving some of the most incredible people.
In 2012 he lost his brother to suicide which resulted in him having a stroke and being unable to drive for a while and this led to a complete change in career and set him on the path he finds himself on today.
He retrained as a performance scientist and worked for McLaren F1, he also worked at the Commonwealth games in Birmingham supporting the coaching staff. Andrew has worked with numerous other Olympians and athletes from a variety of sports and disciplines.
He currently runs AB Performance Coaching Ltd doing business performance coaching, corporate wellness, team building, away days and regularly does key note speeches where he shares his lived experience and knowledge from working with some of the fastest athletes and racing drivers in the world.
Andrew uses his own high performance model and psychometric test which he created, not bad for someone who lost 30 years of memory and doesn’t remember learning at school.
