Spooky scary skeletons invite you to book your spot on a spooktacular free creative workshop at the HalloZINE FAIR...Feed the Monster: A Haunted Generative Writing WorkshopJoin author Lyndsey Croal for an appropriately seasonal generative writing workshop. During the workshop, you will be guided through a series of exercises and prompts to hopefully build the bones of a new idea or even complete a short story or flash in the workshop. This will be a relaxed workshop and will be suitable for any level of writing experience. About Lyndsey Croal Lyndsey is an Edinburgh-based author of strange and speculative fiction, published in over eighty magazines and anthologies, including Apex, Analog, Weird Tales, and Mslexia’s Best Women’s Short Fiction. She’s a Scottish Book Trust New Writers Awardee, Shirley Jackson Award and British Fantasy Award Finalist, and former Hawthornden Fellow. Her longer works include Have You Decided on Your Question (Shortwave), Limelight and Other Stories (Shortwave) The Girl With Barnacles for Eyes (Split Scream Volume Five, Tenebrous Press), and Dark Crescent (Luna Press). Numbers are limited, so ensure your place on this workshop by grabbing a free ticket via this Eventbrite! Come find us at the workshop meeting spot (you'll see a sign at the fair entrance by the Coin-Operated Press table) 5 minutes before the start of the workshop to check-in and we will direct you through to the workshop space! The HalloZINE FAIR is running from 11:00-16:00 at the National Library of Scotland.
