Cambridge Carbon Footprint (CCF) is an award-winning environmental charity in Cambridge, UK. We work to raise awareness of climate change issues and to support people in moving to low-carbon living.We engage with people who want to reduce their Carbon Footprint through positive, and pragmatic changes to their lifestyles. We offer a varied programme of events and activities which inspire people to engage with climate change and empower them, individually and within their communities, to move towards low carbon living.Volunteer, collaborate, come along to an event or access useful resources on climate change, and sustainable living in and around Cambridge. East Barnwell Community Centre

As the cold weather creeps back in we are reminded that the UK has the coldest and draughtiest homes in Europe, while in the midst of a climate and cost-of-living crisis. This workshop will focus on home energy improvements that make your home cosier, warmer and cheaper to heat whilst reducing the carbon footprint of your home.Workshop details:A short talk on low-cost / no-cost measuresA free lunch &amp; chatStalls and demonstrations on:<ul><li>Thermal Imaging</li><li>Action on Energy providing retrofit grant and funding advice</li><li>Draught proofing</li><li>DIY draught excluders</li></ul>Event details:Sunday 2nd November, 1-3pm at East Barnwell Community Centre, Newmarket Rd, Cambridge CB5 8RS
