Join us for an informative session on the recent changes to the private life route for young migrants and children applying for settlement in the UK. This session will be delivered by We Belong Senior Outreach Solicitor based at Coram’s Children Legal Centre.Following the June 2022 changes to immigration rules on the private life route, which reduced the qualifying period for settlement for young people and children, the Home Office has announced further amendments effective from 29 July 2025. These changes expand the eligibility criteria, allowing more children and young adults to qualify for settlement under the private life route.In this session, we will discuss:<ul><li>The latest rule changes, who can benefit, and what these updates mean for applicants.</li><li>Whether you are a young migrant, a parent, or a professional supporting families, this session will provide clear guidance on the new settlement pathway.</li></ul>Please note: All information provided during this event is for explanatory and support purposes only.
