Welcome to Nova. We do two things on our mission for social change: Local grassroots support and live learning dialogue events.Our work is based on the3 pillars of social cohesion:Social mobility:equality of opportunity to get ahead;Social inclusion:the degree to which citizens can participate on an equal footing;Social capital:resources that result from cooperation for a common endReaching over 2,500 people each year, we aim to:Develop knowledge, education and confidenceConnect diverse groupsProvide opportunitiesOffer practical and responsive supportWe achieve our aims through 5 interconnected programmes:Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG)Adult Community EducationVolunteer PlacementsFamily ProgrammeSocial Change InitiativesWe are vibrant, optimistic and hopeful. Celebrate Black History Month with a guided Walk & Talk around North Kensington with Iya London.

Join us for a thought-provoking walk through North Kensington with expert tour guide, Joanna from <a href="https://iyalondonwalks.com/corporate-walks/" title="https://iyalondonwalks.com/corporate-walks/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Iya London</a>. She’ll lead us on a journey to explore some of the key locations, events and people that have shaped the Black history of this multicultural neighbourhood.The walk starts at Nova and will end at the Tabernacle, 34-35 Powis Square, London W11 2AY.Event Highlights:<ul><li>Learn about the rich Black history in North Kensington with an expert guide.</li><li>Explore key landmarks and figures that have contributed to the area's cultural heritage.</li><li>Engage in meaningful discussions and share your perspectives.</li><li>Celebrate Black History Month and the diversity of our community.</li></ul>Meet us at Nova by 12:15pm so we can set off by 12:30pm. The walk will last approximately an hour but all are welcome to stay longer.This is an all-weathers event, so please wear suitable clothing and footwear. * Please note: places are restricted for this free event, so only book if you are definitely going to attend, thank you.*
