How do we ensure that people's voices are truly heard, placed at the heart of co-production, and actively drive meaningful change in ASC?

Great Northern Chinwag - Beyond Boundaries Series Empowering Voices is our 2nd workshop in teh series, shaped by conversations with colleagues across adult social care and members of the community.Each session will explore the topic through the lens of roles, people, issues, and situations, encouraging diverse perspectives and collaborative thinking. Our aim is to uncover new insights and develop more effective, inclusive solutions to the challenges facing social care. Each session will follow a lightly structured format to guide and support meaningful inclusive conversations.If you sign up for a topic, please come prepared to:<ul><li>Share a story or example related to the theme.</li><li>Reflect on challenges that have affected progress or success in this area.</li></ul> Together, the group will agree on a sequence for discussion, which will support the topic through:<ul><li>Deep listening</li><li>Thoughtful questioning</li><li>Sharing learning</li><li>Constructive feedback</li></ul> Comments and feedback.After listening and discussing – participants will be invited to commit to:Action that is possible – encourage working with – Local partners and Networks – Strengthen work across neighbourhoods and communities- Regional networks – agreeing what we can share with those allies and colleagues.These sessions will create opportunities to be courageous – build Alliances – Learn from each other- strengthening coproduction. Encourage and re energise the commitment to coproduction in supporting the key priorities across social care.
